Espíritu de Bruma. Mist Spirit.

The wisdom that contributes Nanbudo born from fraternity, the love must walk in search of harmony (調和, chôwa). Martial Art should not only be a fighting art or defence, should aspire to be an Art of Life, as proposed from Nanbudo ... but mostly it has to go to a school of behaviour.

The behaviour (行动 Kodo) is the main base of the Kyosei(共生, Japanese term suggesting the concept of living and working together for the common good) from love to the neighbour, to the companion… and is necessarily based on respect for the person and their environment. Nanbudo brings health, and this a good quality of life and all this reverts to a wider possibility where love flows which brings us to a state where harmony reigns.
Kyosei and harmony are two inseparable things for me, and Nanbudo is, or so I understand, the means to express the principles on which they are based.

Kasumi henka,
Cambios de bruma,
Changes in the mist,

Society, from the beginning of time, has always been a slave of progress, a continued progress that charges its interests, producing continuous changes in the evolution of humanity. It moves circuitously from either direction, as does the fog at sunset. The man, the woman, has continued to use those changes to your own being, care for their environment and to defend that haze is the icon of harmony, of good behaviour.

Doshu has managed to capture it through irimi-tenkan, through the harmony which is the interaction between Tori and Uke drawing that symbol(空, Ku, kara, sora. Sky, empty… spatial awareness of the environment and the presence of the other; mental space of inner peace) representing the infinite that continually moves as the mist (霞み, kasumi) on the sunset, and we can recreate in implementing the “Nanbu kasumi randori no kata” talking about basic randori or "Nanbu Sotai kirigaeshi no kata" in Randori Sotai, for me, one of the most beautiful randori, for its beauty clean, simple and natural.

Seishin no kyôsei desu
Es simbiosis del alma
Is the spirit symbiosis

As school behaviour behind the Nanbudo there are extras principles that are essential for living in society. We practice an art which replaces the aggression for be less violent, less offensive or provocative. We have to eliminate the hostility between people, and the Sotai randori offers that solution as a fundamental tool of conduct and this begins from the practice on the tatami. This is "Seishin no Kyosei", this is the symbiosis of the spirit, of the soul.

The welfare of the body goes through a calm spirit. If our spirit lapsed mind induces the body's disease. If our spirit lapsed, the mind induces to the body the disease. Moreover, for that our spirit will be positively active should be left to impregnate in the mist of concord, of the fraternity and live in a clear conscience.

Kame no jiyû.
Tortuga libre.
Turtle in freedom.

Kame (亀, Turtle) is known as a "keystone species", since many other species depend of it for their survival or refuge, because it excavates large burrows in the wild, shared with other species. In ancient times, it was considered a spiritual and auspicious animal.

In an ancient document, the turtle’s shell is shown as a carrier of the lines making up the trigrams of the "Book of Changes" and the two principles called "Yin and Yang". Turtle represents the longevity, wisdom and indestructible, and the representation of the universe.

Do not leave behind anything of the spirit or soul. Is one of the ways known to define the Zanshin (zan, permanence; shin, mind). Which refers to the mental state in that we continue focusing our attention: not only the opponent and its surroundings in combat or randori, (that is, in the life)… but also in the Kata, in the imaginary combat (that is, in the mind and in the spirit.)

Give everything, it is Zanshin; leave nothing behind, surrender body and soul to everything that we propose. Let us not get carried away by the rush and should not be sought rewards or merits. We must move forward in solidarity with others, walking beside him helping and teaching. Because when you help others, you help yourself... and when you teach, you learn.
Remembering the ancestors, ancestors, teachers who guided us and guide us is another virtue to work.

¡bendita locura
saber poner una sonrisa
en la cara de los demás!

Walk in freedom as does the turtle, but we will walk the path of humility, and this is a path where has no place pride, ego, enmity or resentment. Walk in freedom for the paths of the life with all the joy you can give. No matter what people think, or tell you you are crazy:
Holy madness...
knows put a smile
on the face of the other!
